Zlwin Chew is known as a Mentalist. In laymen term, he is referred to as a Mind Magician. Mentalism is a sub-category of the Art of Magic and is a specialized performing art in itself. Blurring the lines between reality and imagination, the mentalist creates illusions of thought reading, precognition and psychokinesis power.
He is seen to be able to know what word a spectator is concentrating on from a randomly chosen book, to impossibly bend metal, to break light bulbs by just staring at them and to accurately predict future events and decisions, among many other feats.
Contrary to people's belief that Zlwin possesses mental powers, his explains that his work merely involves psychology, suggestion, influence and magic. All these elements blend together as one to closely mimic psychic phenomenon, allowing him to deliver an entertaining performance.
In his shows, Zlwin Chew engages both his audience's eyes and minds, blows them off with unexplainable mind magic and take them as close to unchartered areas of the minds as it is possible.
